Like others years, the late season will start with a full weekend rehearsal during which the memories of the members will be put to the test. Visuals, drill, music and movements, will everybody remember everything after four long weeks? From experience we know that after an hour on the field, everything will be alright. We have no reason to believe that this year will be different.
With only a month to go in the 2010 season, we are working towards a number of annual highlights. We have the Drum Corps Europe Championships on September 25th in Kerkrade. Of course this is not the only thing that Beatrix’ is working towards. The corps will perform in Vollenhoven (show and flower parade) on August 28th, 2010 and on the Dutch Championships organized by Drum Corps Nederland on September 11th, 2010 in Dordrecht. The last time that you will have the chance to see Beatrix’ 2010 is at the two-day Mars en Show event on October 2nd in Almere.
In short, there’s enough to look forward to and to work towards. The members are very excited and cannot wait to get going again. Do you want to visit Beatrix’ this weekend? That is possible. Saturday Beatrix’ will rehearse on Sherpa, the home training field, from 09:00 until 16:00. On Sunday, Beatrix’ will be on “‘t Jagerspaadje” in Loosdrecht from 10:00 until 16:00.
